Once you activate this plugin on the “Plugins” page it is recommended that you then click on the “Related Posts Options” tab. There you will make activate the “SQL Index Table Setup” and make a few edits pertaining to the display.

I recommend you enter 2 or 4 in the “How many related posts would you like to show?” option — depending on how long your post titles are and if you want to keep them on one line. In the next part, “Before / After (Post Title)” enter <dd> in the first field and enter &nbsp;&raquo;</dd> in the second field. Leave the other fields as is: “false” for “Show excerpt?,” nothing for “Excerpt length (No. of words),” nothing for “Before/After (Excerpt),” and “False” for “Show password protected posts?” (though this last one is completely up to you as your choice has no bearing on the display.

After you have this part of the configuration completed, then go to the “Theme Editor” on the “Presentation” page and enter “activated” in the “CONFIG-FILE” to add the related posts links on your single post pages — all styled and ready to go. No fuss, no muss. See the configuration page for more information about this last step. » Removed. No longer necessary with build #B20070406.01 and newer.

To install this plugin add the “related-posts.php” file to your blog’s “plugins” directory.
