The Blog Author Box

On the sidebar you will see a box directly below the navigation called with a heading which says “Blog Author.” As the heading states, this is about the primary blog user or admin. By default, after installing this theme, you will not see that box or its image, but it is designed to be easily enabled, like so…

Adding Feedburner RSS

Post Date Display

To achieve what I consider the best appearance of the post date make the following change in the admin. First go to the “Options” page then under “General” then scroll down to the “Date and Time” section. Then in the “Default date format:” input change the content to read F jS, Y (example: January 1st, 2007).

Adding Advertising

Admin Post Page

The admin post page has two textareas you will be concerned with: The main “Write Post” textarea and the “Optional Excerpt” textarea. With this theme you may want to use both of these textareas. In this post I will tell you how to turn off the “Visual Rich Editor” and modify the size of the two aforementioned textareas.
