Mike’s Experiments - CSS: Text Shadows

Due to browser compatibility and CSS3 support issues, offering resizable, elastic text drop shadows with CSS positioned text seems to be the only solution, but the text can be replicated unnecessarily and I didn’t really like that. Here I offer a solution to this — all without scripting.

This experiment is meant to affirmatively answer that age-old question, as stated: “Did you know pure text drop shadows can be elastic and yet remain stable?” The answer, of course, is obviously and quite emphatically yes, it can! :-)
