Being the Contributor
Care to make a contribution to this project? That’d be great. I am looking for specific stuff as well as those that haven’t even entered my mind yet. The unknown of course I leave up to you. The specific contributions I’d like to see are these plug-ins and blog add-ons that pervade the blogosphere. A lot of it is garbage, but many users don’t think of this. They assume, naturally I might add, that the cool little gizmos they download are highly professional works. But to the developer looking at some of this stuff’s markup, we know it’s not. I’d like to see some of these made valid, accessible, and theme-ready. Instructions like “Drop this script or include into this USERS_(file), and that’s it!” work well. These plugins need to offer the visitor a usable alternative if scripting, images, and/or, styles are disabled, or any combination thereof.
I’d also like to get some configuration settings for the USERS_MODS file. A cool contribution would be said USERS_MODS settings with a compete image pack. That could be very useful. Sort of like a theme for a theme.
