Beast-Blog Reaches 10,000 Downloads
I’m happy to announce the Beast-Blog theme has exceeded the 10,000 downloads mark — and that’s just from my site. There are also download mirrors such as the Themes.WordPress site (where it’s been downloaded over 2200 times), plus it comes in different languages. It’s really nice to see that this thing was/is so well received. It was voted by users the number one two-column theme and the number two of all themes for a long time, but about a week after I found out about it some dude gave it a crappy grade for an include error that really wasn’t even my fault so that shot that all to hell. Oh, well, that’s the way it goes. The download number says a lot more than its current rank anyway… people seem to enjoy it.
What’s next? A version 2 of course, but it’ll be a while. I already started working on it but I’m so busy I hardly have time. Someday, though, I will finish it. It’ll be the same successful if-it-ain’t-broke-don’t-fix-it theme, but with a bunch of improvements based on feedback I’ve gotten since its release and personal observations and an expanded education — I’ve learned a lot since I made version 1.1 and have lots of little things I know I could have/should have done better.
I used to keep a showcase of in-use Beast-Blog themes but I gave up on it as it was too much work, but if you’re a user, please let me know if you happen to stumble upon this post. I love seeing what people have done with it. It’s still a find for some people. It’s been downloaded Downloaded times, after all, and still counting! So share a link, show me your stuff!

Its a great theme, I have tried it on a fresh install and its nice and nippy! Also a great accessible theme straight out the can!
