Feedback for The Green Spot
For those who’ve known us for a while, you’ll know that asking for feedback is something we do regularly.
This is a quick post for friends, customers, and distributors of The Green Spot, Ltd., home of the GreenMethods. The reason is a simple one: We want your comments and feedback. Whether it be about our business, our products, our service, our catalog, or our website. Anything you want. This is your opportunity to speak your mind and ask those burning questions.
For those who’ve known us for a while, you’ll know that asking for feedback is something we do regularly, though doing it in my blog is new. Hopefully this will work and we’ll get the info we need. We’ll hopefully find out what thing you’d like to change about us if you could, or how you like the catalog (or don’t like it because it is missing…?). Tell us what you think of our website. This is your chance to speak up, so we’ll hope you’ll do just that.

Hey Mike,
Green Methods has a really nice design- I’ve been there before (via various links around this site) and think its really well put together, but since you wanted some feedback I took a really close look and I can only think of one issue with it. The issue is with your right column’s links (Under “Site Portal” and “Main Site” for example). The links are clickable anywhere in the column (following Fitts’ Law), but there is no visual clue to this on their inactive state, such as a different background or an underline link, while on the hover state it is clearly demonstrated. Perhaps you could modify this? That’s the only thing I could see that could be an issue. Hope that helps .

Thanks Martin. I’m actually going to be posting a link to this article from the GreenMethods Latest News to here to afford those wanting to, customers and such, an opportunity to comment about my company, the site, requests for features on the web or in print, and other such stuff.

I don’t have a link or anything, but Andy Saxton posted in a thread on the Accessify Forum pointing out that GreenMethods.com was featured in a UK Web Design Magazine for its accessibility. Lovin’ that.

GreenMethods.com is referred to as a good example of heading navigation in a book on web accessibility. Details are located in the news archives under Small Stuff that Matters.

I have left this post open for many, many months giving GreenMethods visitors an oppotunity to post feedback. None have — ever.
