Sidebar Link and Text Styling

Since the navigation list is styled, the rest of the sidebar content is begging for styling; it demands it in fact so it will be visible. The in-text link is being colored, the underline removed on hover is inherited, but background color is being added for focal states to help keyboard users. The sidebar padding and browser default styles are taking care of the rest.
